As the workplace become increasingly multicultural in nature, cultural competency plays an undeniably critical role in leadership. Successful professionals are aware of the cultural factors that may impact interactions and develop appropriate skills to manage and lead effectively.
In this session, participants will increase their awareness of fundamental best practices for working well across cultures. We will explore ways to effectively understand the underpinnings of cultures, recognize differences in communication styles, and think about relationship management. Those at the forefront of interacting across cultural boundaries will acquire knowledge and tools that will help them manage more effectively in a multicultural team environment.
