From the early immigrants who came to America in search of better opportunities to the modern-day pioneers who are breaking barriers in technology, business, and the arts, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have played a vital role in shaping the country's story.⁠

Back in 1915 on this day, the ANZAC forces landed on Gallipoli to take out Turkey. But despite their best efforts and courage in the face of adversity, they were unable to secure victory.⁠
